Metallica Death Magnetic Reveal Songs for Track List & Album Cover

July 24, 2008 by Chazders

Metallica's Death Magnetic Album CoverWhat’s loud, dark, and will be kicking your butt in September?

Give up?

It’s the newest album from Metallica, titled ‘Death Magnetic’. And now, thanks to a goof-up by a sheet music site, we have the full track listing!

1. “That Was Just Your Life”
2. “The End Of The Line”
3. “Broken, Beat & Scarred”
4. “The Day That Never Comes”
5. “All Nightmare Long”
6. “Cyanide”
7. “The Unforgiven III”
8. “The Judas Kiss”
9. “Suicide & Redemption”
10. “My Apocalypse”

Yes, you did see that right. No need to read it again. Track 7 was indeed called ‘The Unforgiven III”.

Death Magnetic will be released to the public in three different packaging options (thanks to MissionMetallica.com), which include the ability to download the album from the internet, studio footage, pictures, a five LP box with individual sleeves, and a special edition coffin case which includes song demos, a DVD, t-shirt, guitar picks, a band poster, and a special download card.

Oh, and the tracks will be released for Guitar Hero III.

September needs to hurry up and get here…

It certainly isn’t anything like their old stuff. I was listening to “No Remorse” today and then listen to “The Day that Never Comes”… nothing alike. When the new album is released on September 12th, I’ll take a listen and decide for myself if I like it or not. –But I definitely won’t expect it to be as good as “Ride the Lighting” or “Kill ‘em All”.
