sexy-girl-guitarworld-guitar-gear-vault-guitar-giveawayWe here at Gear-Vault wanted to do something special for our readers to celebrate G-V’s 2nd birthday. Gear-Vault has been one of the most awarded top music gear and guitar research and review webzines found anywhere online. Not only do we help the readers decide what piece of musical gear is right for them, but also offer an exclusive music gear classifieds and auction section @ Gear-Search.com. With eBay’s extremely high selling fees which are consuming sellers’ earnings, it forces sellers to increase their prices and shipping prices to try to break even. Gear-Search.com is free. This allows sellers to sell their gear at a more reasonable and fair price. In today’s economy, we have to do everything we can to save costs. That’s why we created Gear-Search.com to help people buy, sell and trade their equipment for no cost.

We encourage everyone to spread the word about Gear-Search.com so we can all band together to build our own network to sell gear online for free. There is an optional $2.00 verification fee only to verify that a member’s PayPal account matches up to their shipping address. No listing fees, so selling fees, no image fees, no fees. /shameless plug.

Okay, without further ado, let us now give away some free guitars, guitar pedals, guitars strings and t-shirts!

We have selected 10 winner using a program called Random.org. It makes life easy when there are hundreds of readers participating in the biggest online give away ever conducted at Gear-Vault!

We must say this was a very impressive and fun give away. We enjoyed every comment left and we have learned an even wider range of cool guitar riffs. It’s interesting to know what music our readers enjoy and it’s especially nice to see Randy Rhoads, Dimebag Darrell and Eddie Van Halen get some recognition. Even some of our personal favorite riffs were mentioned in Judas Priest Painkiller, Nightrain by Guns N’ Roses, and Seek and Destroy by Metallica.

Not everyone may like the same guitar riffs that other folks enjoy, but one thing is for certain, Gear-Vault will be having another give away. So stay tuned! Until then, keep rockin’!

Here are the winners favorite guitar riffs…

Logan’s favorite guitar riff:
probably tangled up in plaid by queens of the stone age.”

Metal Rocks!’s favorite guitar riff:
After I have heard the song through the fire and flames by Dragonforce and all of the solo’s in the song it inspired me to plat the electric guitar. actually, also because of the guitar hero game i tried this song and failed (i know it’s not the real thing) if would be able to win this guitar i would definately learn this song

Nght5tlkr’s chosen guitar riff:
I can’t say it’s my favorite of all time, but when it first debuted, *everyone* wanted to play it–hence the hundreds of YouTube covers of it. The riff I’m referring to is the intro of “God Knows” sang by Aya Hirano.

Richard Wood, Jr.’s favorite guitar riff:
My favorite riff is the intro to Wish you where here. Sounds so naked and bares the soul of learning to play the guitar.

Doug Child’s favorite guitar riff:
I love the opening riff for Life in the Fast Lane by the Eagles….I heard that Joe Walsh was just using it as a warm-up piece before a show, and when Don Henley and Glen Frey heard it they looked at each other and said “now that’s a song!

Dillon ‘s favorite guitar riff:
The chorus from Psychosocial by Slipknot. It’s a really cool sounding riff that is played under nice vocals. Or, Master of Puppets interlude solos, James’ and Kirk’s harmony sounds amazing!

Josh’s favorite guitar riff:
Definitely the intro of “Unchained” by Van Halen. The tone is simply wonderful, and the writing is also fantastic. very catchy. The rest of the song is great too, to be expected from Van Halen.

John Brower’s favorite guitar riff:
A Hard Day’s Night – Beatles. It’s to cool, to catchy and totally unique. It turn a piece of electronic noise making equipment into an iconic tool of rock. Genius.

Reuben’s favorite guitar riff:
Best riff? Probably Van Halen’s Ain’t talkin bout love..just because its so recognisable and catchy and timeless.

Raul’s favorite guitar riff:
The song is Everlong by Foo Fighters. Never get tired of it
