Allen Shellenberger, Drummer Of Platinum Rock Band Lit Diagnosed With Malignant Brain Tumor

The rock band Lit is in a fight for its life. Recently diagnosed, drummer Allen Shellenberger, 38 year-old drummer for Orange County rock band Lit, has a malignant brain tumor. On May 5^th the band made the announcement that they were canceling their European tour with KISS.

After forgoing a biopsy, Shellenberger is fighting malignant glioma. Shellenberger’s symptoms affected his memory band members said. Shellenberger will under go radiation and chemotherapy treatments. The entire band is by Shellenberger’s side and are willing to fight next to him. “Allen’s young and healthy and if anyone has a chance to beat this, it’s him,” says Lit guitarist Jeremy Popoff. “As sad and scared as we all are, we’re standing by him and staying positive. We’re going to fight this together.”

For 20 years, Lit has had chart topping singles including, “My Own Worst Enemy”, “Miserable“, and others.
