Here is a clean Triple channel Mesa Boogie Dual Recto with a Bias Mod. The bias mod is an amazing modification to run the tubes (6L6GC switchable to EL34) at the proper temperature. Mesa Boogie build these amps stock from the factory to run the tubes cold. Though this is suppose to extend the valve life, it makes the Recto sound fizzy. This mod fixes the fizzy-ness that the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier are notorious for. I have the eq set-up to nail Metallica's "Through the Never" and "Blackend" type tones. It has that really tight attack, or crank the bass and get that loose tube sag with lots of low-end bass
The 6L6 GC Sylvania tubes that are currently installed in this amplifier are in very good shape. I don't want to call them brand new because there is 30-40 hours on them. However, plenty of life!
This Mesa Boogie Dual Recto is really nice shape, it does have some minor nicks (as it's not a brand new amp), I did, however, attach some detailed pictures of the amplifier. If you would like me to take me some photos of the amp, let me know, I'll be glad to take them.
Note: The Blue Jem was replaced with an Amber Jem.
